Woman’s burnt body found in Kythira
A badly burned body of woman was discovered on the island of Kythira, off the southeastern coast of the Peloponnese, on Thursday.
According to state broadcaster ERT, a lighter and a bottle with flammable liquid was found near the body, which has been identified by the woman’s husband.
According to reports, the couple owned a souvenir shop on the island.
An investigation is under way into the cause and circumstances surrounding her death.
