Fire breaks out in western Attica

A fire broke out in the area “Dio Pefka” in Aspropyrgos, western Attica, burning low vegetation. 

According to the fire brigade, the fire erupted shortly after 2 p.m. Monday and does not threaten any residential areas.

There are 35 firefighters with 10 vehicles and a helicopter operating at the scene.
