Elderly man arrested in Thessaloniki for shooting dog

An 85-year-old man was arrested in Thessaloniki on Thursday evening for shooting a dog.
The arrest came after a complaint was filed against him on May 1, claiming that he had injured a stray dog, using a firearm.
The man is expected to be charged with violating animal welfare legislation when he appears before a prosecutor on Friday.
