Evangelismos hospital reports zero Covid-19 admissions after four years

After four years, Evangelismos Hospital in downtown Athens operates without any Covid-19 cases, hospital director and board president Anastasios Grigoropoulos announced on social media on Thursday.
Grigoropoulos described the development as “hopeful,” but cautioned against premature optimism regarding the pandemic’s end.
“For the first time in four years, we closed our emergency department with zero Covid admissions! We cannot speak of the pandemic’s end yet, but it’s truly hopeful. More data soon for safer conclusions,” the hospital’s director stated in his post.
