Man arrested for sexually abusing his 3-year-old daughter

A 47-year-old doctor was arrested in Larissa on Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing his three-year-old daughter, following a complaint filed by the Smile of the Child charity.

According to the police investigation, the accused allegedly sexually abused his daughter while inside his car.

The child’s mother and ex-wife of the perpetrator had already filed a complaint against the father, who returned the child four hours later than permitted in their custody agreement. Arccording to state broadcaster ERT, the mother was the one who notified the charity. 

As reported by local news site onlarissa.gr, the father’s lawyer stated that the accused denies charges and attributes the complaints to family fued. 

The child will be examined by a child psychologist and a forensic pathologist.
