Shipping Minister Christos Stylianides extended his gratitude to Greek sailors for their exemplary seamanship worldwide αt the Ministry’s New Year’s cake-cutting event on Wednesday.
He also commended the ethos and professionalism demonstrated by the personnel of the Hellenic Coast Guard in safeguarding Greece’s and Europe’s maritime borders.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Ioannis Pappas addressed the implementation of the National Strategy for Integrated Maritime Policy in the Insular Area.
He also emphasized the importance of bolstering the international and European dimension of insularity during the same gathering.
