Police records thousands of parking violations in three regions

Almost 10,000 violations were recorded by the Hellenic Police (ELAS) in the year up until November in the western Greek regions of Achaia, Aitoloakarnania and Ilia concerning the illegal parking of vehicles, and preventing the movement of people with disabilities and pedestrians.

Police said 1,068 of the violations concerned stopping and parking where there are ramps for disabled people and in parking areas for their vehicles.
