Weather service warns of storms over the weekend

Greece’s National Meteorological Service (EMY) issued an emergency notice warning of thunderstorms and hail which are expected to hit the country as of Friday afternoon, starting from the northwestern regions.
According to the emergency bulletin, storms are forecast for the Ionian islands, Epirus, western Greece, western Peloponnese and western Macedonia on Friday morning and then for Macdedonia, Thrace and the northeastern islands on Friday night.
On Sunday, the bad weather will affect the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
