Woman found dead in shower likely died from electrocution
A 24-year-old woman in Thessaloniki who died while taking a shower is believed to have been accidentally electrocuted, state-run broadcaster ERT said on Thursday.
Police has ruled out the possibility of a crime saying the woman was alone in the house while in he shower with the water heater turned on. Her partner had left the house to go to a nearby store.
When he returned, he found her unconscious and called for an ambulance, but rescuers who arrived could not revive her, ERT said.
An autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death.
