Police seize 160 kilograms of cannabis in Arcadia

A criminal organization that cultivated and trafficked drugs was dismantled in the region of Arcadia, central Peloponnese by the authorities on Sunday. Six members were arrested.

Among other things, more than 160 kilograms of cannabis were seized, while, according to the police, the profits that the organization would obtain were estimated at 600,000 euros. The quantities of cannabis came from a plantation in a local community of the Municipality of Gortynia, Peloponnese.

Four foreigners, aged between 39 and 45, and two Greeks, aged 62 and 64, respectively, were arrested on Sunday.
