One in ten candidates are women at Greek local elections

The women candidates participating in the Greek local government elections constitute only 13.5% of the total number.
Out of a total of 1,222 municipal candidates participating in the elections, 1,047 are men and merely 164 are women, claiming the mayoral seats of the 332 municipalities.
