Greece sends firefighting aircraft to Albanian forest fires

Greece sent two Canadair CL 415 aircraft to Albania on Sunday, after the Albanian authorities requested assistance from the European Civil Protection Mechanism to aid with the ongoing firefront in the Pishe-Poro protected area of the Fier region.

The mission ordered Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Vasilis Kikilas.
