Storm Elias caused Athens-Patra national road to close

Storm Elias caused serious problems on Monday after heavy rain and hail.
The National Highway from Athens to Patra is partially closed due to mudslides. The old national road is also closed and, according to the fire department, some vehicles are immobilized.
Rain and hail also hit the rest of the Peloponnese, destroying crops in the area of Kalavryta.
