Pilot killed when small plane crashes in Thiva

The pilot of a small aircraft has died after crashing near Thiva, in central Greece, according to state broadcaster ERT.
The incident occurred around 12 p.m. on Saturday in close proximity to the runway of a local aviation club, the report said.
The details surrounding the crash have yet to be determined.
The identity of the pilot has not been disclosed by authorities at this time.
