Fidan expresses optimism for resolution of Greece-Turkey disputes
Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed optimism about the “positive climate” in Greece-Turkey relations, seeing it as a “great opportunity” to address bilateral disputes.
“We aim to maintain positive relations with all countries in our region. Regarding the issues where we differ with our neighbor, Greece, we believe this positive climate presents a significant opportunity for resolution. We approach this matter with sincerity and hope for reciprocation from the Greek side,” stated Fidan.
However, Fidan also emphasized that Turkey remains committed to safeguarding its interests and rights in the Aegean and the eastern Mediterranean with sensitivity.
