Police arrest fugitive hiding in monastery

A 29-year-old man accused of murdering a 51-year-old man in Gazi in downtown Athens last September was found hiding in a monastery in eastern Attica and arrested, authorities said on Wednesday.
After the murder, the fugitive found refuge in the monastery. According to investigators, the 29-year-old was found after reportedly confiding where he was hiding to relatives who were being monitored by police.
