Turkey carries out second test-fire of ballistic missile

The Turkish military has carried out a second test of the country’s home-built Typhoon missile, Greek state broadcaster ERT reported on Tuesday, citing Turkish media.
The medium-range ballistic missile was test fired from a mobile platform near the port city of Rize on the Black Sea.
The Typhoon, or Tayfun in Turkish, was built by Roketsan and was first test-fired in October 2022.
The second test comes days before Turkey votes for a new president in a tense runoff.
