Teenage girl killed in Kallithea traffic accident

A 13-year-old girl was killed in the Athens neighborhood of Kallithea after she was hit by a car on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred at 2.30 p.m. at the junction between the major thoroughfare of Thiseos and Spartis.

The girl was rushed to hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The 32-year-old driver of the car has been arrested.
