Mykonos: Archaeologist threatened in abusive text message
The Association of Greek Archaeologists has said that one of its members who works on Mykonos received a threatening message with abusive content.
The archaeologist reported the threat, which came in the form of a text message from an unknown number, to a prosecutor that deals with extortion and to the police.
The Association of Archaeologists has asked the authorities to take protective measures for the archaeologist and her family.
Earlier this month, archaeologist Manolis Psarros was beaten by two unidentified men on the island and was left unconscious and bleeding in the street. The 53-year-old was later transported to a state hospital in Athens.
