Election date to be set on Friday, says goverment spokesperson

Friday’s cabinet meeting will decide on the date of the upcoming general election, Government Spokesperson Yiannis Oikonomou has indicated.
“After Friday’s ministerial meeting, you will get your answers to all these questions,” Oikonomou told journalists at a press briefing, in response to a question about the date of the poll.
April 9 has been widely cited as the most likely date for the election.
