Athens metro: Work stoppage called for March 1

A work stoppage on the Athens metro on Wednesday, March 1 was announced by workers on Friday.

According to an announcement by the Athens Metro Workers’ Union (SELMA), the work stoppage will be from 6 p.m. until the end of the shift.

In a brief press release they stated that the reason for the work stoppage is the company’s failure to comply with agreed commitments.
