Corfu: Man arrested for murder of 93-year-old mother

Police on Corfu have arrested a 64-year-old man for the murder of his 93-year-old mother, who was found dead in her home in the center of the city on Sunday.

An autopsy revealed that the woman had been strangled.

The arrested man, who is understood to be suffering from mental health issues, is being held in a psychiatric facility.
