Athens metro: Work stoppage on Line 1 called for Wed night

Employees on the green Line 1 of the Athens metro have announced a work stoppage on Wednesday night in protest at draft legislation proposed by the Transport Ministry.
As the work stoppage will run from 10 p.m. until the end of shift, workers will start to withdraw services from about an hour beforehand as they return trains to terminals.
