Resident shoots and injures burglar in Thessaloniki

A 40-year-old man was injured in Thessaloniki after he was shot by the resident of an apartment he had entered illegally on Wednesday morning. The burglar is being treated at the G. Gennimatas Hospital, with the incident taking place at approximately 7 a.m.

According to early information released by the police, the 39-year-old resident shot the burglar with a hunting rifle. Investigations are ongoing.
