Convict escapes from Larissa hospital

A 38-year-old man serving a 20-year prison sentence escaped from a university hospital in Larissa, central Greece, on Thursday night where he was being treated under guard, a local news website reported.
There were no further details available as to how he managed to escape or what crimes he has been convicted of.
Police has launched a manhunt in Larissa to locate the fugitive.
