Fog disrupts flights to Corfu

A dense fog that has settled over Corfu in western Greece disrupted Thursday morning’s international and domestic flights to the island, state-run broadcaster ERT said.
A Sky Express plane was unable to land to the island and returned to Athens’ international airport and Aegean Airways cancelled one flight, while three international flights to Corfu were rescheduled after 11 a.m. on the hope that the fog will have eased by then.
