One woman dies after rockfall on Crete

A woman died in the Siteia region of Crete after a rockfall struck a holiday home complex late on Saturday night. The woman’s husband and child were unharmed. The family was on vacation in the area.
A total of 50 firefighters and 20 vehicles were on scene in an attempt to find the woman.
