Student trafficker charged with illegal transport of migrants

A university student was arrested on Friday charged with illegally transporting migrants in the area of Asprovalta, outside Thessaloniki.

She appeared before an investigating judge and was released on 3,000 euros bail. The woman reportedly claimed that she agreed to make the transfer, using her family car, because she was in financial debt to a foreign national.

Police officers arrested her with five undocumented Pakistani nationals in her car.
