Kathimerini Forum addresses the challenges that lie ahead for Europe
With Russia’s war on Ukraine entering its eighth month, the looming energy crisis threatening social cohesion and shadows that threaten fundamental democratic values rising over Europe, there are more questions than answer about what lies ahead.
“Is this going to be the toughest winter for Europe since World War II?” This is the question that will be addressed by a writer and three top New York Times and Kathimerini journalists at the Kathimerini Forum, taking place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) this Friday.
Specifically, the NYT’s Roger Cohen and Steven Erlanger, respected author Apostolos Doxiadis and Kathimerini Executive Editor Alexis Papachelas will be analyzing the key challenges facing Europe right now, in a discussion that will be moderated by Kathimerini journalist Iliana Magra and presented by Democracy & Culture Foundation President Achilles Tsaltas and Kathimerini English Edition Editor-in-Chief Tom Ellis.
Admission to the forum is free of charge but reservations are essential due to limited seating. For reservations, click here.
