Fire breaks out near Xanthi
A fire was reported in the area of Achladia near Xanthi in northern Greece on Monday. According to early information released by the Hellenic Fire Service (HFS), the blaze is burning through a wooded area.
The HFS mobilized 12 firefighters, five vehicles, and two aircraft to tackle the fire. They are being assisted by water-carriers from the local authority.
