Cannabis plants seized by police in Corfu

A man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis plants in a plot of land adjacent to the Corfu courthouse.
The plants were discovered by civil protection staff while they were clearing the site. Police went into action and later detained one man suspected of running an illegal grow operation.
Authorities have uprooted and confiscated an unknown number of plants.
