Moderate tremor recorded off Crete

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Crete on Monday morning. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The Athens Geodynamic Institute said the quake was centered 15 km east of Zakros, a small town in the Lasithi region. The depth was 10.2 km. It occurred at 6.30 a.m.
