Firefighters step up efforts against Grammatiko blaze

Firefighters on Friday afternoon stepped up efforts to battle a wildfire in Grammatiko, eastern Attica.
A force of 62 firefighters, with 11 fire engines and three ground units teams, are being assisted by four water-bombing aircraft and three helicopters, as well as by municipal water tanks and volunteers.
The fire broke out just before 2.30 p.m. in low vegetation.
