Woman, 77, dies in Crete after kitchen floor collapses

A 77-year-old woman died after her kitchen floor collapsed burying her under it in an incident at the village of Orne, Rethymno, Crete, Wednesday evening.
Firemen rushed to the spot and pulled the victim out of the rubble.
The victim’s body was handed over to forensic experts for further investigation.
Local reports said the house was built in the 1920s and had never undergone any repair.
