Woman’s body found in Saronic Gulf

The body of a woman was recovered off the uninhabited islet of Agios Georgios (also known as San Giorgio) in the Saronic Gulf on Monday, the coast guard said.

Authorities said the body was that of a female aged between 55-60 years old with a height of approximately 165 cm.

Police said the woman’s death was being treated as unexplained and inquiries were ongoing to establish the circumstances.
