Evangelos Venizelos released from hospital after medical tests
Evangelos Venizelos, former deputy prime minister, was released from Athens’ Sotiria Hospital on Thursday evening where he underwent some precautionary medical tests after testing positive for Covid-19.
The tests were deemed necessary due to a persistent cough he is experiencing, state-run news agency AMNA said.
Venizelos has received the fourth dose of a Covid vaccine and is exhibiting mild symptoms.
