New cases of Covid-19 ease back down to 4,626

Greek health authorities announced 4,626 new reported cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday (down from 6,252 on Tuesday) and 19 virus-related deaths. The National Organization for Public Health (EODY) also stated that there are currently 161 intubated patients being treated in Intensive Care Units.
The total reported number of Covid-19 cases in Greece since the start of the pandemic rose to 3,406,553, with a total of 29,619 deaths over the same period.
