4.5-magntitude earthquake strikes south of Iraklio, Crete
A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Crete on Friday afternoon, according to data from the Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics.
The earthquake occurred near the village of Miamou, around 40 kilometers south of Iraklio, at 5:01 p.m. at an estimated depth of 14.5 kilometers.
There have been no reports of damage.
