Forest fire reported in Pilio

Firefighters were called on Friday to tackle a forest fire that broke out eastern Thessaly.
The Fire Service said the blaze was located near Platanias, in the municipality of Southern Pilio.
Ground and air forces were mobilized to extinguish the fire.
This week, fires were reported in Messinia, Zakynthos and Samos.
