Moderate quake rattles Crete
A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the island of Crete on Friday morning, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 9.47 a.m., was identified approximately 40 kilometers southeast of Gavdos islet, and at a depth of 8.8 kilometers.
There were no reports of injuries or damaged buildings.
