Parent arrested in Crete after keeping kid out of school over Covid concerns

A 39-year-old woman in Iraklio, Crete could face charges of child neglect after keeping her child out of school for two years over Covid-19 concerns.
The woman was arrested Monday following an injunction by the public prosecutor.
The 9-year-old pupil has not attended classes since September 2020.
