Riot police attacked in central Athens

A squad of riot police was attacked by unknown assailants in the early hours of Sunday morning in the central Athens neighborhood of Exarchia. Molotov cocktails were hurled at the officers at approximately 2.45 a.m.

There were no injuries from the attack, but one car was destroyed. The police have made one arrest in connection with the attack. [AMNA]
