Snow causes traffic disruption along Athens-Lamia motorway

Truck traffic is prohibited between the Kalyftaki and Oinofyta intersections on the Athens-Lamia motorway due to hazardous weather conditions, police said Monday.
All other vehicles must be equipped with snow chains, police warned.
A cold front dubbed Elpis has already brought significant snowfall in parts of Greece and is expected to affect the capital Monday and Tuesday.
