Schools: More than 6,000 Covid-19 cases detected in third round of testing
A total of 6,364 pupils and teachers tested positive for Covid-19 in the weekly nationwide screening designed to stem the spread of the virus, according to data provided by the Education Ministry.
Only two schools have suspended classes due to Covid-19 cases, the ministry said.
Two earlier rounds of Covid-19 testing, conducted since schools opened following the winter break on January 10, revealed 25,000 infections.
