Passerby finds body wrapped in blanket in Menidi

A body in an advanced stage of decomposition was found Tuesday in the eastern Attica suburb of Menidi.

A passerby made the discovery at around 5 p.m near a stream at the junction of Vardousion and Loundemi streets.

Initial reports suggest the body, which was found wrapped in a blanket, is that of a male.

An autopsy is expected to take place on the remains.
