Police officer arrested for the sexual assault of his daughter

The Hellenic Police Internal Affairs Bureau arrested a 29-year-old police officer on Sunday for the sexual assault of his four-year-old daughter.

The arrest took place after his wife came forward to accuse him of the crime. The police officer is currently serving in the Greek countryside.

Initial case evidence has been handed over to the relevant authorities and to a prosecutor who authorized the arrest. [AMNA]
