Emergency crews battling fire on Kythera

Emergency crews were battling a wildfire on the Greek island of Kythera on Thursday.
Fire Service said 10 firemen with seven fire engines were trying to contain the blaze that was tearing through forestland in the area of Kastrisianika in the center of the island.
Reinforcements were expected from the town Neapoli in the southern Peloponnese.
Fire inspectors were investigating the cause of the fire.
