Man charged with antiquities possession on Kalymnos
A man has been arrested on the southeastern Aegean island of Kalymnos on charges related to the illegal possession of antiquities.
Local police said the arrest was made on Thursday as part of targeted efforts for the protection of cultural heritage.
An investigation of the company owned by the accused yielded ancient stone grinders, 32 fragments and four handles of ancient amphorae, and six fragments of other ceramic vessels.
