Patra man accused of abusing woman for 5 months
A man has been arrested in the western port city of Patra on charges of forcefully confining, physically abusing and attempting to rape his partner in his home for five months.
He was arrested on Wednesday after the woman filed a complaint.
She said her ordeal began in March.
According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), he also blackmailed her, with the aim of sexually exploiting her.
