Tavros-Pireaus metro services halted due to cabling fire

Services on the Green Line (Line 1) of the Athens Metro between Tavros and Piraeus have been temporarily halted due to a fire that broke out in the cables on Tuesday morning.
According to operator STASY, the fire was extinguished after the intervention of the Fire Service.
Efforts are underway to repair the damage caused to the power lines and signals and to restore services.
